Abstract/Summary

This study is about the experience of the youth on kagandahang loob. It aims to show the readers the views and experiences of the youth as givers and receivers of the act. Six college students consisting of the five females and one male were interviewed. Three females came from a sectarian school while 2 females and one male came from a non-sectarian school. Results showed that there are 5 domains of kagandahang loob, with act of kindness as the most common. This is not consistent with Resurreccion article about kagandahang loob because the views of the youth are different from the views of the professional people (i.e priests, social workers and the like). These findings have implicated that kagandahanng loob is not only clearly defined in a professional level but also can be defined nearly as clearly, if not completely clear in the youth level.
