Abstract/Summary
Salakay is a role-playing video-game script - a hyper-narrative based on Philippine mythology. The script contains gameplay descriptions and transitions, character dialogue, lore and choice branches, making it more detailed and complex as compared to a screenplay. The story focuses on the quests of three playable main characters -- Satuga, Amo and Rasha -- each coming from one the three Philippine main group of islands (Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao). The warriors accept missions that will lead to the end of a war against evil creatures and their slave datus to save the land from destruction and resolve their individual conflicts.
