It's More Chinese in the Philippines: an in-depth look into the mainland Chinese presence in the Philippines is a 4-part article series on the influx of mainland Chinese nationals in the Philippines. The purpose of the articles is to contextualize the presence through presenting information such as first-hand accounts from mainland Chinese individuals, viewpoints from professionals, and analysis of documents, reports, and statistics. The first article goes into depth on the previous instances of Chinese migration in the Philippines and the context of the contemporary influx of Chinese nationals. This article goes examines various "waves of Chinese migration" in historical Philippines and the various causes for the influx of mainland Chinese presence in the Philippines. The second delves into the first-hand experiences of Chinese migratns and immigrants on life in the Philippines. The third explores the historical, political, and cultural perspectives between Chinese-Philipppine relations. This article looks into the foreign aid, news coverage, and culture clashing between the two countries. And lastly, the fourth provides an outlook of mainland Chinese migrants in the Philippines, regarding sovereignty, the Philippine economy, and China-Philippine relations.
