Abstract/Summary

Monitoring a start-up company's stability has become a great influence on its success and long-term growth in forecasting. This paper constructs a nonparametric control chart to monitor the stability of the total monthly milk sales of Company X. Given a process data, an Autoregressive model was fitted, accommodating for non-stationarity as needed, while its residuals were used for resampling using the Sieve Bootstrap method and a control chart was then constructed. The main objective of the paper is to monitor the sales given its time points and look for in-control (IC) and out-of-control (OC) points. IC points indicate that the sales are within its limits-meaning stable. While OC points are categorized into two erratically high and low in sales. After carefully deliberation of the control chart, it was found that the process showed signs of erratically high and low instability.
