Abstract/Summary
This paper studies the impact of crime on the movement of the Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi). The dependent variable used is the PSEi, while the independent variables are crime and the controlling variables: interest rate, inflation rate and the exchange rate. The statistical method applied is the multiple regression, with analysis provided through the STATA program. Result shows that general crime has no significant effect on the PSEi.
