Abstract/Summary
Global Strategic Solutions and Services Inc is a well known information technology company who caters software products to a number of huge corporation like San Miguel, Coca Cola, Xavier School and a lot more. The company has thrived for about seven years retailing software products and renewing licenses. Recently, GS3 became an IBM partner and is launching its new product which is IBM Production Imaging Edition. IBM Production Imaging Edition is a bundle of products which is a merge of four systems which are Datacap Taskmaster, FileNet Content Manager, FileNet Business Process Manager and Content Manager Workplace. Simplifying IBM PIE, it is an OCR (optical character recognition) software and a document management system. Its function is to scan and read documents then puts it in a database for ease and security access.
Studies have shown that due to economical and technological progress institutions all around the nation grow bigger so does their paperwork. IBM Production Imaging Edition solves this paperwork problem through implementation of a paperless workplace through its big idea Intelligent Paper Solution.
Marketing Strategies were then proposed to target institutions with a lot of paperwork. The main target market of IBM Production Imaging Edition is hospitals in order for them to continually have patient documentations which are patient records, past illnesses, medications for them to provide the best solutions for all their clients. The secondary market would be government agencies, schools and top corporations.
The company will cater to events such as expositions, product launches, tech seminars and get together parties. Furthermore, print advertisements within magazines, newspapers, billboards, brochures and internet sites would be presented. Lastly, the company would provide giveaways such as pens and planners to promote IBM Production Imaging Edition.
