Abstract/Summary

Barrio Fiesta EDSA corner Rochester Street in Greenhills, Mandaluyong City, has been operating since May 2010 having transferred from 68 Wilson Street Greenhills 1530 San Juan Metro Manila. They have a seating capacity of one hundred fifty (150) with two (2) separate function rooms which can be joined together.

The whole Food Service Industry has continued to grow by three point three percent (3.3%) from the years 2004 to 2009 despite the economic crisis experienced by the country. The Full Service Restaurant Industry has been flourishing for the past few years but not for all industry players. Barrio Fiesta has been losing market share for the past few years from 2004 to 2009.

This research paper aims to understand study on the usage, attitude, and image on Full Service Restaurants in Greenhills, Mandaluyong City. To specify what factors affect the decision making of consumers in choosing a food outlet, to identify the factors on why consumers eat out, to identify which food outlets consumers are aware of, to identify the factors that consumers may or may not consider important in choosing a particular food outlet, to identify the reasons for eating and not eating in Barrio Fiesta EDSA.

Given the decline of market share of Barrio Fiesta, the group has several recommendations based on the feedback on the survey conducted. Also, the recommendations covering hospitality, feedback, menu choices, and utilities are presented and noted with their respective costs for implementation, totalling P64,000.75 which will be recovered on the year 2011.
