Abstract/Summary

Corporations at present are constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency in their workplace, especially that which involves simplifying of communications, at minimal cost. There has been an ongoing trend of visual collaboration wherein meetings need not to be held in person anymore. People can now talk with each other and have meetings without having to travel on the venue through conferencing, whether audio or video. Top executives of the different companies now meet through video conferencing, saving on travel costs and maximizing work efficiency.

Seeing these opportunities, the group has decided to propose product bundles for the conferencing suite: VideoConnect (Videocon + DSL), Audiocon+ISDN+PABX and video conferencing bundled with accessories. The products incorporated in these bundles are already being sold individually by the PLDT Alpha Enterprise Voice category and bundling them at a lower the price, making it more enticing to the clients. The target market for this is all the corporate clients of PLDT, especially those belonging to the BPO, export/import and banking industries respectively. Some of the marketing strategies to be deployed are the circulation of e-brochures and print ads in newspapers.

Finally, the projected revenues for three years are presented in the financials section. This part serves as a strong proof that PLDT should really be taking advantage of the global trends towards the use of conferencing and start introducing the group's bundles in the present corporate voices market. These would further strengthen its position as the market leader in the telecommunications industry.
