Abstract/Summary
Variations in plant resistance and defense against pathogens is a eld of interest for improving crop production. Understanding and altering the plant-pathogen interaction may lead to the future development of pathogen-resistant plants and possible transfer of resistance genes between systems. Several modeling approaches have been used to better understand and analyze complex biological systems such as plant pathogenesis. In this paper, we model the plant pathogenesis interaction with the presence of Resistance genes using the stochastic BioAmbient. This modeling approach was used in an attempt to mimic the behavior of plant cells and pathogens under the in uence of Resistance genes.
