Abstract/Summary
This thesis has generated a business model constructed using Osterwalders business model canvas, Hamel's four factors in anticipating strategy decay and the resiliency factors specifically designed for the online classified ad industry. Given the sudden decline of Multiply.com, the researchers considered it critical to analyze this event and conduct a research to ensure that other online classified ad companies avoid committing the same errors and to strengthen the constructive strategies these companies have along with the findings from this research to achieve the objective of business resiliency in the online classified ad industry. The researchers made use of both qualitative and quantitative data from the study with interviews using the TOWS Analysis, surveys using the Likert Scale with the Analysis of Variance and observations to gather and analyze their data. This is a significant matter in the Philippines especially with the immense growth and countless breakthroughs and innovations for e-businesses that wish to continue their business operations online.
