Abstract/Summary

Every college student comes to this point of time in his life, where one has to undergo their final course, on-the-job training. This is when a student gets to taste a little bit about what the working life is really about. Some students consider this as a requirement and nothing more, while others savor each minute of learning from this experience. My internship at Ford Alabang, opened my eyes to a new world, it was sort of a preview. This documentation, gives a brief history of Ford Motor Co., Ford Group Philippines and Dearborn Motors Co. Inc., the dealership company who owns a number of Ford and Mazda dealerships in the Philippines. Ford offers many services and has a wide selection of vehicles for your personal need. In this documentation, a small project will be explained, which deals with one of the processes in the Financing and Insurance department at Ford Alabang. The next chapter talks about the tasks, tools and output, and also the undermining management principles observed in the workplace. Then to show how these processes flow, the following chapter focuses on the concept map of each process. Of course ever documentations have a part where a student recalls all of this learnings and insights. I have learned many things from my experience and I can't wait to go and venture into the outside world.
