Abstract/Summary

The purposes of this study are to provide the student the experience from actual instructions that could be found outside of the school and a chance to display the student's potentials and possibilities in real world. Also to let the student have the experience of working in a company located in the Philippines and adapting to the atmosphere and the environment to help the student have an idea of working in the country. The experiences learned during the On the Job Training will be the base for building future career, also finding the student's aptitude. The student was able to achieve the purposes and the OJT tested the student's capabilities successfully.

The objectives of this study are to adapt in a new environment, to apply knowledge into real world, and to learn interpersonal relationship skills. There were set with the student's needs, the considerations of what the student expects to learn from the OJT and understanding of the purposes of the curriculum OJT.

The activities were related with the core management subjects such as Actonea, Actoneb, Manacct, Mgmtdat, etc, also Language subjects too. The student was not only assigned in the Executive office and conducted the tasks connected with assisting managers, but also practiced the other tasks under Customer Relations Group, and Finance Department. The student was able to use the knowledge to understand and do the tasks. Also the student could see the real business model and how the theories are applied in real world. The experience earned during OJT was helpful to the student to develop the communication skills, critical thinking, decision making, flexibility and adaptability.
