Abstract/Summary
This study is all about the experience that the trainee had in working in a real corporate environment. Everything learned from school, academic theories and management principles must be the important things that a student should apply in this internship/
Academic courses such as Religion series, Social Science series, Language and Humanities, and Core Management courses contributed a lot in fulfilling activities as Asian Terminals Incorporated.
The trainee is required to work on a project that will test skills in logic development, decision making and time management. The project is to develop effectiveness and make new ways that might help the HSES Department in their work.
The project's objective is to have an effective implementation of Occupational Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (OHSES) Management System in ATI-South (SH) that deals mostly on safety. This Department is very much responsible for the safety measures of everyone who will conduct work inside the premises of ATI. This project will contribute a lot for everyone because safety is the priority of the company.
Throughout this internship, the student learned traits like Oral Communication skills, planning and organizing, and adapting to new environment. The student also learned to apply academic theories and management principles in doing tasks, activities, and project formulation. Furthermore, the internship experience has helped the student discover own potentials and how is it working in a real corporate setting.
