Abstract/Summary

The presence of various human resource practices in an organization has been considered to affect employee retention which is one of the most important factors in attaining company success. By taking into consideration six HR practices, namely recruitment, training, monetary compensation, benefits, career development opportunities, and labor relations, the relationship of these HR practices to employee retention at a pharmaceutical company called Orient Europharma Philippines, Inc. was identified. Using the survey data retrieved from a set of respondents in the company, the researchers were able to identify that three HR practices significantly affect employee retention, namely recruitment, monetary compensation, and labor relations.
