Abstract/Summary

Aerotel Limited Corporation is the general sales agent of the following airline carriers: Air New Zealand, Finnair, South African Airways, and United Airlines. The company gets commission between 2-5% net sales which originated in the Philippines.

The potential target market is the IATA travel agencies which are responsible for most of the travel arrangements from the Philippines to other destinations. Another potential market segment for the company is the corporations market. This segment regularly sends people who are mostly trainees, to other countries to attend classes usually for quality control measures and the like.

Aerotel Limited Corporation would have a welcoming personality, open to any suggestions, comments, or feedbacks clients might have. However, the company have a lot of weaknesses namely: lack of manpower. Aerotel has no clear mission vision statement for employees.

The researchers propose that Aerotel Limited Corporation should take into consideration the internal and external strategies. These includes: adding human resources for a wider reach of the market, a clearly stated mission and vision statement instilled in employees, client feedback systems, online information and account profiles as well as updating of its website, an automated phone answering system, and improved service through a rewards system for employees – among others.

Implementation of this Service Plan will entail an investment of Php 2,013,000.00 for the first year, with an estimated profit of Php 1,653,053. To effectively evaluate the results of the implementation, the management of Aerotel Limited Corporation should regularly monitor income and expenditures monthly and annually.
