Abstract/Summary
Abstract. This study concerns the operating characteristics of the pedicab.
Physical characteristics of the pedicab driver and the physical profile of the pedicab were studied. Multiple regression analysis was used to determine the factors that affect the average running speed of the pedicab. The physical characteristics of the pedicab driver and the physical profile of the pedicab that affect the average running speed of the pedicab are the age, length of legs, ratio of the height and weight of the pedicab driver and the total width of the pedicab.
This study also shows that there is an inconsistency of fare in the pedicab operation in the City of Manila.
