Abstract/Summary
This study aimed to identify and compare the Recruitment and Training & Development practices at Department of Tourism (DOT) Accredited hotels in the National Capital Region (NCR). There were 19 internationally-affiliated and 52 locally-owned hotels surveyed. The data were analyzed using frequency distribution for the comparison of such practices and the mean was derived to determine the common practices between internationally-affiliated and locally-owned hotels. The frequency distribution revealed that there are both similarities and differences in the HR practices of the hotels. The mean that the proponents derived revealed the common HR practices of both internationally-affiliated and locally-owned hotels.
