Abstract/Summary

In this research paper, the proposed public-key cryptosystem based on the Diophantine equation is further studied. The new eipher scheme introduced here is based on simple steps of generating public and private keys. Not only is it simple to generate the keys, the encryption and decryption procedures are easy to do. For a sender to encrypt a message, he needs the public key to encrypt the message to perform a vector product of the message being sent and the public key. On the other hand, for a receiver to decrypt the message, several multiplication and modulo operations are implemented. Although the cipher scheme is easy to implement, the scheme proved to be not secure under the cipher text attack.
