Abstract/Summary
Abstract. This project is a seven-article series on contemporary Filipino inventors. One inventor was featured in each article. The seven subjects were chosen from among the recipients of the 'DOST Science and Technology Awards and the United Nations' World Intellectual Property Organization Gold Medal.
The series was published by Barkada, a youth-oriented monthly publication of the Communication Foundation for Asia Media Group. The magazine is distributed nationwide through educational institutions and other retail outlets. Now on its 15th year, Barkada's mission is to promote education and value-formation among the youth. It is approved by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports as supplementary reading and instructional material for high school students and teachers.
