Abstract/Summary

This study was made to determine if the project of making Pil-O-Mat is viable. The study is divided into seven chapters, namely the introduction to the Study, Market Study, Technical Study, Management and Legal Study, Financial Study, Socio-Economic Study and the Conclusion and Recommendation.

The introduction of the study provides on overview of what the proponents will be including in the study in order to determine the feasibility of the project. Doing this feasibility study will benefit not only the proponents but other individuals as well as those who are interested in coming up with their own product, especially those that are similar to Pil-O-Mat.

The market study contains the criteria and discussion of the primary market as well as the secondary market. The primary market was identified as household coming from Vista Verde Village and Ireneville Subdivision and employees coming from ARCYA Glass Corporation and KPMG-MCC. A survey was conducted using probability method with a random start. After gathering data from the survey results, it was found out that the product is acceptable with a gross market acceptability rate of 72.98%.

The Technical study shows the product dimensions of Pil-O-Mat which is 36 x 76 x 1/2 and the procedures in making Pil-O-Mat. This study also includes the results from conducting a Time and Motion Study. An assembly lime method was used and the proponents can produce an average of 25 units per day. With three workstations, the company is 73.15% efficient.

In the legal and Management Study, the company will employ a functional organizational structure because of the many activities that the company will participate in. The qualifications of the officers are mentioned along with the administrative rules and regulations that the company will follow.

While the Financial study shows the financial assumptions of the company and the consolidated financial statements. The company is efficient in utilizing the resources with an asset turnover of 3.25 times. The company can very well return the proponent's initial investment of 407.04% ratio and at the same time generate a profit of at least PhP 73267.83.

The Socio-Economic study discusses desirable social factors that make the project acceptable. Socio-economically, the company, utilizes its materials efficiently, employs proper waste disposal, contributes to employment, ability to pay taxes and foster development economically.

For the conclusion and Recommendation, it is the belief of the proponents that this project is indeed feasible and the product Pil-o-Mat is viable. Therefore, it is suggested that the project be pushed through.
