Abstract/Summary
This thesis is based on the article The Cevian Problem by Duane W. De Temple and Marjorie Ann Fitting. The Mathematics Teacher, May 1998. The Cevian Problem - Let n cevians be drawn from each of the three vertices of a triangle, with no three cevians intersecting at a single point within the triangle. Into how may nonintersecting parts do these 3n line segments divide the interior of the triangle? The article gave different proofs for solving the cevian problem. Additional problems that have the same answer as in the cevian problem were also introduced in the article.
