Abstract/Summary
Scaffolds and formworks are major components, having a vital role in building-construction. Scaffolds are temporary platforms consisting of vertical, diagonal, and horizontal steel members used for supporting workers and materials. Formworks are temporary working surface for construction workers during the construction process.
SCAFF System is a software developed for Scaff System Manufacturing, Incorporated. The software's main functions include automatic generation of scaffolds and formworks (that is type and quantity) which are to be used for a construction project. It also generates cost estimates of the particular project.
