Abstract/Summary

Many have tried but few have succeeded-this is the goal of A Bug's Lite Inc. Talent, perseverance and creativeness molded in each of the seven members makes it possible for them to achieve this goal. Lite and Shade offers a difference in the industry. Made of flex and flex sticker on a semi-circular wood, the group hopes to establish a foothold in the market by offering a quality product with a relatively low price.

With respect to the technical study, A Bug's Lite Inc. came up with various ways in order to produce the product. The group opted for the assembly line method since it not only finishes one (1) unit of Lite 'n' 'Shade' in 194.37 minutes. The assembly line is also deemed for a more efficient process because not all the members were granted the ability to perform each procedures with the best results. The assembly line method is the more sensible choice so that the proponents will be able to combine their creativity and talent to produce a quality product. Six (6) units can be produced per production day, with three (3) workstations.

The group conducted a survey of its primary target market, which is composed of homemakers. The members were able to determine their sample size with the use of the stratified sampling method. The survey resulted with 80% of the respondents showing interest in buying the said product. Advertisement of Lite 'n' Shade' would be mostly through word-of-mouth, bazaars and flyers. This low priced advertising is chosen because the proponents wanted to give a lower selling price to its consumers.

In accordance to the Management and Legal study, A Bug's Lite Inc. would have an initial capital of P 17,500, as provided by its members with a contribution of P 2,500 each. Stocks are 90% subscribed and paid up. Every member will be held responsible for each of the tasks and duties assigned to them. A schedule of activities for every month is also included. This is for the purpose of efficient and continuous process of the business venture.
