Abstract/Summary

Jollibeans Corporation is formed by eight incorporators. The product that will be sold by the Corporation is a beanbag named Jollibeans beanbag. The proponents made a study regarding the product that they intend to sell. The feasibility study was conducted to serve as a guide for the proponents in the operation of the business.

Based on the survey conducted by the proponents, they are confident that the product is marketable. The survey was conducted on the primary market which were the CBE students of De La Salle University. Based on the results of the survey, the proponents were able to come up with strategies that they will undertake once they are able to sell the product.

The technical description of the product is found on Chapter 3. This includes the different information of the product such as the production process, the plant site, plant capacity and materials used. Break-even analysis is also included in this chapter.

The form of ownership adopted by the Company is a corporation because of the continuity of its existence and the ease of transfer of ownership. It is also because of the stability of the said form since there is a right to succession. The term of its existence, its incorporators, Board of Directors and authorized capital stock are found in Chapter 4.

The financial aspect of the business is shown in Chapter 5. This includes the evaluation of the projected financial statements, financial ratios, and budgets. The profitability of the business was determined through the use of the projections made by the proponents.

The effect of the business to the different elements of the society is found in Chapter 6. How the business can be of help to the government, customers and owners were mentioned. The effect of the business to the competitors, economy and the environment were also explained.

Upon the completion of the feasibility study, the proponents were able to conclude that there is a demand for the product and that they can produce it with the skills and resources available.

The proponents therefore recommend the manufacturing, marketing and selling of Jollibeans beanbag.
