Abstract/Summary
This thesis paper is an exposition on the article 'Magic 'Squares' Indeed! written by Arthur T. Benjamin and Kan Yasuda published in the American Mathematical Monthly in February 1999. Specifically, it discusses a special property of square matrices, called the square-palindromic property, and the sufficient conditions for this property. It also presents examples of matrices that are square-palindromic, such as centro-symmetric and centro-skew symmetric matrices, circulant and (-1) -circulant matrices, and all 3 X 3 magic squares. This paper also introduces special matrices such as persymmetric matrices, projection matrices and shift operators.
