Abstract/Summary
This study examined the relationship of personality and work classification to stressors and behavioral stress response in 93 administrative and faculty members of De La Salle University, Manila. The participants answered the Extraversion Inventory, Stressor Questionnaire, and Ways of Coping Inventory. Both administrative and faculty members regard external stressors as more stressful and exhibit more problem-focused behaviors. With Phi-Coefficient, personality and work classification is not significantly related. With Chi-Square, the two working groups' stressor and stress response are not significantly different. Consequently, a new conceptual framework is proposed.
