Abstract/Summary

It's been twelve years now since Microcircuits Corporation started and now they wanted to take another step forward by giving their customers a new service which is the Internet.

Internet and computers go hand in hand. Thus, Microcircuits Corporation would like to find out if there is Market Acceptability for Internet. As a result, they would like to be an Internet Service Provider (ISP).

By interviewing the company's representatives and distributing the survey questionnaire, the group were able to gather primary data. As for the secondary data, different libraries were made used. Foreign documents were found in the Internet. Though the recommendation of the company's director, 100 respondents were interviewed. 70 individuals users and 30 corporations. The research design used was the descriptive research.

Microcircuits Corporation plan of being an ISP is highly feasible, a lot of individual and corporation are very willing to subscribe for an Internet Service. It is something new that very few people have seen its immediate need. Therefore, for them to succeed, they should have a competitive price. The group recommended that Microcircuits Corporation should launch their new service January of 1996 for them to gain advantage over the upcoming competitors.
