Abstract/Summary

Globe Telecom started the operation of its IGF services in September this year. With its entry into the market, it encounters such big telecommunication entities as PLDT, PhilCom, and Eastern Telecom. This Service Plan aims to suggest ways by which Globe Telecom can keep up with the industry during its initial year of offering IGF services.

The tactics, strategies and programs proposed in this Service Plan are geared towards consumer awareness and customer recall, and the company's establishment as a full service telecommunications company. And eventually, to fulfill its vision of becoming THE NEXT TELEPHONE COMPANY.

This Service Plan is limited to the nontechnical aspects of IGF Operations. The highly technical nature of the service itself makes it difficult to project service feature developments.

Total cost of the Tactics, Strategies and Programs proposed amounts to P 30,660,136.96. Because figures for operating expenses were not available, profitability is estimated from 50% down to a conservative 10% of Target Revenue. However, even if the company only reaches 10%, it would still be able to earn at least P 6,739,863.04.

Evaluation and Monitoring of Performance would be done through Usage, Attitude, and Image (UAI) Tests, Focused Group Discussions, Program Audits, and other methods.
