Abstract/Summary

RESIDENCE INN is a chain of resort hotels patterned after the famous Club Mediterranean of the States. Presently, the chain already numbers eight, namely: Residence Inn-Calatagan Beach Resort, Residence Inn-Bonito Island Resort, Residence Inn-Cebu Mountain Resort, Residence Inn-Lipa Ranch, Residence Inn-Tinago Falls, Residence Inn-Iligan and last, but not the least, RESIDENCE INN-TAGAYTAY MOUNTAIN RESORT.

Already, there are two more scheduled for further development. These are Residence Inn-Palawan and Residence Inn-Baguio.

This service plan focuses on RESIDENCE INN-TAGAYTAY which is considered as the flagship branch of the Residence Inn chain of resort hotels. The proposed service plan aims to establish the resort as a prime vacation destination of families through the adoption of some strategies.

Advertising will be limited to print ads and non-traditional media. Promotions will center around making Residence Inn attractive to families seeking a venue for weekend excursions, and for corporate visitors who need a reasonably priced package for holding business seminars or conferences.

The service plan also seeks to magnify Residence Inn's array of services (unique selling proposition) making it the most viable alternative venue as opposed to the other resorts in the Tagaytay area.
