Abstract/Summary
As the only pawnshop open at night in Pasay City, Nighty Nite Pawnshop, aims to offer convenience, just appraisal, lowest interest rates and longer grace periods to satisfy the needs of the clients. The proposed pawnshop's odds business hours are an alternative to clients who resort to usurious creditors such as the loan sharks and 5-6 lenders. The pawnshop may also service small borrowers who could not be accommodated by the banking system and other financial institution. The Nighty Nite Pawnshop will cater to individuals who are in need of instant money even after office hours and provide a safety net to small firms and households who suffer liquidity problems.
The results of the survey conducted in the public market in Pasay City were more the researchers have expected. 72% of the total population would like to avail of the Nighty Nite Pawnshop's services. Based from the interviews conducted, the pawnshop suits the target market needs and its services have been created to fulfill the growing demands of the market. The results are very clear: Nighty Nite Pawnshop is acceptable to the target market.
The process of services is based from the pawnshop industry. The pawning process, terms and conditions of the loans, operational requirements, and labor requirements are organized to provide as a map for quality services. All legalities have been made in accordance with the law and the management functions are actualized to be effective in its operations.
The financial aspect of the study proves that the investment will derive exceptional profits for the investors. The pawnshop realized sizeable amounts of income for the 5-year study regardless of its scenario. The return of investment is double the amount of any investment in the local market. That is why Nighty Nite Pawnshop is a good project that is worth the while for implementation. Any investor could then be assured of a considerable return in the future.
The Nighty Nine Pawnshop throughout the years hope to expand its services to a wider market in different parts of the country. By that time, the pawnshop has already established its name with a reputation of providing equitable loan extensions to clients as a result of its continued improvement and customer satisfaction.
The feasibility study of the Nighty Nite Pawnshop confirms one thing: it is industrially viable, technically and legally feasible and financially desirable.
