Abstract/Summary
Visayas/Mindanao Travel Guide is a Decision Support System that has three major purpose. First, to aid tourists get a good glimpse of the Philippines, particularly the Visayas and Mindanao regions. It gives the tourists relevant information regarding the different places of interest in Visayas and Mindanao. Moreover it has a facility that suggests to tourists itinerary plans given their specifications.
Second, this system was developed to aid the Department of Tourism maintain relevant information regarding tourist spots for easy access and referencing.
Third, this system serves as a medium of advertisement for the Department of Tourism since information about different provinces are readily available to the tourists.
