Abstract/Summary
This thesis is an exposition of the Moessner's process which generates the Kth powers of a natural number. In particular, this study is based on the article Adding up to Powers by Edward A. Bender, Fred Kochman, and Douglas B. West dated February 1990. It presents proofs of some results from the article using techniques in Combinatorics such as recurrence relations, proof by 1-1 correspondence, and counting of lattice paths.
