Abstract/Summary
Bataan: 1942 is a computer-simulation of the war between the Philippine-American USAFFE forces and the Japanese 21st army during World War 11. It is recalled that in 1942, the Japanese successfully invaded the Philippines. This wargame allows the player to choose either the Philippine or Japanese side in the war and lets him take command of is army against a computer opponent. This serves to be the first wargame written for a war that included the Philippines and serves to teach the history surrounding the war as well as provide a simulation of what may happen had the USAFFE or Japanese forces acted differently during the course of the war.
