Abstract/Summary

The Computer Assisted Instruction for Microprocessor Fundamentals (MICRO-CAI) has the main objective of developing a computer-based instructional system for teaching MICPRO1. This could provide a means for undergraduate students especially students majoring in Computer Technology, to familiarize themselves with the basics in microcomputer and microprocessor. This could be used as a supplementary reference material for the teaching of microprocessor system theories covering the 8085 and Z80 microprocessors. The system has been provided with the following facilities Lesson, Evaluation, Performance and Utilities. The Lessons and Evaluation facilities are necessary to meet with the objectives. The various Utilities and Performance were used for the enhancement of the said objectives.
