Abstract/Summary
The RS232C Video Terminal is a stand-alone terminal consisting of three peripherals-CRT monitor, keyboard and printer-and a 16K memory capacity for buffering. This terminal is an intelligent terminal since it is an 8088-based terminal that provides further local processing. Half-duplex transmission is provided through the RS232C Asynchronous communication standard making the terminal an interactive stand-alone terminal. Given more time, this RS232C Video terminal can be a data communication channel by attaching a modem to it.
