Abstract/Summary

In any organization, private or public, budgeting is essential if management seeks to look ahead and plan its future rather than accept what fate may have to offer. A complete budget, in turn, offers a means of controlling operations in order to achieve scheduled plans. The BIS-Senate of the Philippines is designed to develop a computerized database information system that addresses the problem areas where computerization is applicable. The BIS was developed by the group mostly through interviews with the Budget Officers and the Budget Staff. Information gathered, usually system procedures, were studied, analyzed and organized then presented in the form of system flowcharts for further cl
