Abstract/Summary

Capri Hauz Corporation is a manufacturing company engaged in the commercial and job printing. A study on their present system of operations in the context of people, resources, information, materials, environment and utilities disclosed that Capri Hauz Corporation is constraining from a net profit that is not continually increasing. This proves to be a major problem since one of the system's objectives is to continually increase the net profit. It was also found out that the fluctuating sales trend of the system, decreasing permanent sales agents, and the transportation expense incurred contribute to the non-continuity of increase of net profit.

Therefore to eliminate this problem or minimize it, there must be an increase in the production capacity in terms introducing a new service to be offered and having the production department work on a two-shift production basis. Increase in the workforce of the sales department and planning of a delivery of job policy are also some of the alternative solutions being raised by the proponents. These alternative solutions led to the proposed solution of increasing the production capacity by having the production department work on a two-shift basis and an introduction of food wrappers as a new service that will be rendered to the market. Another proposed system is increasing the number of permanent sales agents. The proposed system's benefit results to an average annual net profit of P 3,897,043.00.

In conclusion, this study does not only solved the problem but also applied IE tools in all stages of study and that is the bottom line in the conduct of this thesis.
