Abstract/Summary

This study presents a collection of examples of applications of mathematics in nature, art and the environment. They were gathered through actual field visits and from various books and reading materials. Its main objective is to present mathematics in action by way of examples for a better appreciation of the lessons in mathematics learned inside the classroom.
