Abstract/Summary

This research study basically presents applications of discrete mathematics to four job scheduling problem in a distributed system. The problems are analyzed and modelled mathematically using concepts of discrete mathematics. From the mathematical models, algorithms are given to solve the problems. Furthermore, these algorithms are justified.
