Abstract/Summary
This paper presents an alternative procedure of approximating the graph of a certain family of polar curves-this family includes the circles, limacons and roses. This procedure makes use of Taylor polynomials. A computer program is provided to help the reader visualize the graphs of both the given curve and the appoximating curve in one polar plane.
