Abstract/Summary
The alarming problem of unemployment and inflation have pushed economic and labor specialists to search for answers to these conflicts. In connection with this, this thesis establishes the relationship between unemployment and money wage thru the use of linear models. The establishment of such relationship was done by gathering annual data for seventeen years taking into consideration, its relationship with the political events of the country. This established relationship would explain further the behavior of the Philippine economy thereafter.
