Abstract/Summary

The aim of this study is to introduce the reader to the topic of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis (MLRA). Specifically, it discusses the basic concepts underlying MLRA and applies these concepts to analyze cases. The discussion focuses on estimation of the model parameters, confidence intervals in multiple regression, analyses of data sets (price, demand and supply, factors affecting CPU time, sales performance) and topics on the use of regression analysis (auto-correlation and multicollinearity). There is a brief review material in Appendix I and Appendix II on basic statistical concepts and matrix algebra. A computer program is also provided to handle the needed computations.
