Abstract/Summary
After a preliminary investigation on DCL Electronics Shop, problems are defined. These problems are: What part of the system needs computerization so that increase in office work load and rising labor costs will not affect the performance of management and its employees when handling information regarding customers and in decision making responsibilities? What sort of management information system design will best suit the information needs of management?Solutions are attained based on a formulated theoretical framework. The researchers present an analysis of the shop's extisting system, a proposal for a new system, a software to automate certain tasks and an implementation plan for the new system.
