Abstract/Summary
This thesis provides an essential approach in finding the appropriate number of nurses needed in the emergency room with the application of Monte Carlo Simulation Technique. It considers the fact that any public hospital should have as its main priority, to serve the people rather than just profit maximization. Opportunity cost is determined to be able to see clearly the balance effect between efficient service rendered and less expenses for the hospital.
