Abstract/Summary

A Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) on the conic sections is made with the use of the Turbo Pascal programming language (version 3.0) and Turbo Graphic Toolbox (Version 1.0). The menu-driven CAI comes in three disks (A,B,C) and it has six modules consisting of an introduction to the conics, the parts of the conics, graphing of the conics, concepts such as rotation and translation, examples and drills. The CAI runs on IBM microcomputers and true IBM compatibles. Only disks A and B are required for running the CAI and the program listings can be accessed from disk C. A User's Manual and program documentation are included.
