Abstract/Summary

This paper is based on the article Digital Sums of Perfect Numbers by Robert Prielipp of the of the Wisconsin State University. It is concerned mainly with in the study of digital sums of special numbers like the perfect numbers and triangular numbers. It aims to acquaint readers with in the following conceptps: congruences, perfect numbers and triangular numbers. It presents some interesting results regarding digital sums of perfect and triangular numbers. Furthermore, this paper involves proving the important theorems, lemmas and corollaries which are related to the subject matter.
