Abstract/Summary

The slow and unsystematic monitoring of inventory, the absence of timely and accurate reports on sales and inventory status, and the lack of a better file handling system have resulted to loss of profits from stock out and increased investment capital from overstocking. In response to these problems, this study has designed and created an automated inventory and sales system using electronic files. The implementation of this new system improved inventory control and produced a clear and more definite inventory policy.
