The authors investigate and evaluate the system in operation of the ordering and billing section of a bakeshop based in Metro Manila by setting up a model for the queueing process and describing the system and its behavior. The theoretical aspects included in the thesis are the arrival patterns, the service mechanism, the queue discipline and practical applications of the queueing theory.
