The study is based on the previous research conducted by Kendell and Lee in the U.S. Specifically, it is aimed to analyze the goal programming model for possible application in the Philippines and makes a recommendation on the average quantity of blood to be distributed among the various hospitals in Metro Manila. The topics discussed are the following: the goal programming approach and model formulation, application areas of goal programming and aspects governing blood inventory management.
