Abstract/Summary
The project is a series of seven feature articles depicting a subculture: Filipinos of Chinese descent who embraced the Evangelical Christian faith or kitoktos. In the process of sketching this group's character through the printed word, the traditional values of their Chinese fore-fathers, the demand for social adaptation of their adoptive homeland and the radical call for change by their conversion are defined, narrated and explained.
